WIU z/OS Information Management Systems will be closed from 6 p.m. - 7 p.m. on Sunday, September 20, 2009, for a scheduled IPL.

Subsystems that will be closed as a result of this outage include: CICS Production, STARS, TSO and batch. STUMVS (Computer Science classes) will be available as scheduled.

Standard Time Change

In accordance with the nationally publicized Daylight Savings Time practice, the mainframe system clock will be reset this weekend.

System clocks on the administrative host (z/OS mainframe) will be reset to CDT beginning at 4 p.m., CDT, Sunday, March 8, 2009. Regularly scheduled operations will resume at 5 p.m., CDT.

Subsystems such as STUMVS (Computer Science classes), CICS production and STARS, TSO and batch will be unavailable during this time.

CICS Upgrade

WIU z/OS Information Management Systems will experience intermittent outages from approximately 10 pm - 11 pm on Wednesday evening, February 18, for a CICS upgrade. The Production STARS and WIUP will be up and down over the 10-11pm period.

Standard Time Change

In accordance with the nationally publicized Daylight Savings Time practice, the University Technology mainframe system clock will be changed this weekend.

The mainframe clock will be changed during a 2-hour window beginning at 4 pm CDT, Saturday, November 1, 2008. During this time all batch and online systems, including CICS PROD, STARS, TSO and STUMVS, will be unavailable while system clocks are set back one hour. Regularly scheduled operations will resume at 6 p.m., CDT, Saturday, November 1, 2008.
